This covers so many different areas; from the charity work that each division
conducts on a monthly basis, through to the opportunities we offer graduates
and students.
Each of our divisions has a day a month to spend on a charity project of their
choice. This gives our people the opportunity to work on a project they feel
passionate about. We find this works well combined with the half day a month
everyone spends out of the office working on an eco-project. In the grand scheme
of things these initiatives seem relatively small but this work has a very positive
impact on moral and our sense of community.
We run a trainee programme which enables a university student to gain valuable
work experience and the opportunity to help pay their way through their studies.
It is increasingly hard for young people to fund their way through University
and then at the end of it, there is often no guarantee of a career.
Our wider work experience initiatives also provide college students and people
within charitable organisations such as the Prince’s Trust the opportunity
to gain valuable, real life experience that can help them to make insightful
choices about their future.
